Der Citroen 2CV ist ein französisches Auto, also eröffnen wir unser Rencontre International des amis de 2CV mit
„DUO D´Accord(S), französische Chansons von A - wie Aznavour - bis Z - wie Zaz“.
Das sind zwei französische Musikamateure, die seit über 30 Jahren in Deutschland leben: Isabelle Günther (dreisprachige Fremdsprachenkorrespondentin), die Sängerin, kommt ursprünglich aus Laval (Département Mayenne in der Region Pays de la Loire ) und Hervé Glatigny (Schreiner) - Gitarre und Gesang- aus Tarbes (in den Hautes Pyrénées, in der Nähe von Lourdes). Die Liebe hat beide nach Deutschland entführt, der Zufall hat beide auf der Bühne zusammengeführt.
2015 haben die zwei Protagonisten ihre Musikleidenschaft ausprobiert, ihr Talent abgestimmt, ihren Bühnenauftritt harmoniert und mit viel Proben und Akkorden schaffen sie ein Duett mit Gitarre, der „Duo D´Accord(S)*“
Das Repertoir des Duos (um die 150 Chansons) umfasst ein breites Spektrum von den 30er Jahren bis zu den 90er Jahren des Französischen Chansons. Von Trenet bis Francoise Hardy, mit France Gall und Francis Cabrel im Programm, von Jacques Brel bis Desirless: Jeder Zuhörer macht eine Reise in die Zeit dank der Interpretationen des Duo D´Accord(S), meist zweistimmig am Mikro. Die diskrete Gitarrenbegleitung lässt die Texte im Vordergrund stehen, zur Freude von vielen, die mitsingen wollen, besonders bei den Refrains von „Champs Elysées“ oder „Nathalie“.
Unter den verschiedenen Programmvorschlägen (es können auch persönliche Programme vorbereitet werden für private Feiern) hat das DUO D`Accord(S) ein spezielles Programm „French Cover“ ausgearbeitet. Es handelt sich um viele Chansons aus den 70ern, die damals mit den Melodien von amerikanischen Hits übernommen wurden. So wurde zum Beispiel „Five Hundred Milles“ auf „Et j´entends siffler le train“ von Richard Anthony gesungen, oder „Ode to Billie Joe“ (Bobby Gentry) auf „Marie Jeanne Guillaume“ von Joe Dassin. Einige Lieder haben auch die Reise zurück gemacht, wie „La Mer“ (Charles Trenet ) auf „Beyond the Sea“ (Jack Lawrence) oder „Comme d´habitude“(Claude Francois) auf....“My way“(Frank Sinatra...wer sonst!).
An jedem Abend gibt es Gelegenheit, etwas über die Chansons zu erzählen, was zwangsläufig oft zu den persönlichen Geschichten der beiden Interpreten führt (ihre Ankunft in Deutschland und die erste Konfrontation mit dem Dialekt etc etc …).
Jeder Abend ist dann auch anders, reich an Souvenirs und immer mit Humor gewürzt.
Das bietet Ihnen das Duo D´Accord(S) seinem Publikum zwei gute Stunden lang.

The duo is made up of two French amateur musicians and singers who have been living in Germany for over thirty years: Isabelle Günther (trilingual translator), on vocals, from Laval (Mayenne, Haute-Loire), and Hervé Glatigny (cabinetmaker), on vocals and guitar, from Tarbes (Hautes Pyrénées, near Lourdes).
It was Cupid's arrows that pointed the way to Germany for each of them, followed later in 2015 by Tyché, who brought them together on stage.
The duo's repertoire (just over 150 French songs, continually renewed) ranges from the 30s to the 90s: Trenet ,Francoise Hardy, France Gall, Francis Cabrel, Jacques brel, Desirless ....each concert takes the audience on a journey back in time.
Duo D'Accord(S) performs the majority of their songs in two voices, the discreet accompaniment of the guitar leaving the richness of the lyrics in the foreground to the delight of everyone's memories, as they let themselves go and sing these tunes from the past to the present.
Among the various programs on offer (as well as tailor-made programs for concert requests for special occasions, or barrel organ accompaniment for street concerts...), one of Duo D'accord(S)'s favorites for performances in Germany is "French Cover". It's made up of American songs from the 70s, whose melodies were then copied by fashionable French singers. For example, "Five hundred Miles" became "Et j'entends siffler le train", sung by Richard Anthony, or "Ode to Billy Joe" (Bobby Gentry) became "Marie Jeanne Guillaume", sung by Joe Dassin. On the other hand, other songs will have gone the other way round, such as "La mer" (Trenet) now "Beyond the Sea" (Jack Lawrence), or the original "Comme d'habitude" (Claude Francois) al become .... "My Way" (Frank Sinatra....who else!!).
Each program is punctuated with anecdotes, from the songs' travels to the adventurous beginnings of the protagonists in Bavaria (with the first confrontations with regional dialects, for example...), all of which adds up to a two-hour show of good humor in song.
