The Hop Caps
Sie machten sich zur Aufgabe Rocknroll, Rockabilly, Swing und Jazz miteinander zu verbinden und kreierten einen neuen Sound, den sie Swingabilly nannten.
Sie mischten in den achziger und neunziger Jahren das gesamte Rhein/Main Gebiet, sowie auch Überregional, alles auf und waren überall gerne gesehene Gäste.
Heute:
Nach mehreren Wechseln in der Band ist es Bernhard Konnos (Sammy)Kontrabass gelungen

zusammen zu bringen und mit ihnen wieder eine Rockabilly Swing Band auf die Beine zu stellen.
Sie spielen von den Go Getters über Johnny Burnette bis hin zu den Keytones ein weit gefächertes Programm.Mit ihrem Wechselndem Gesang und mit ihrem 2 Stimmigen Satz Gesang versprechen Die vier munteren Jungs : „Bei unserem Rhythmus bleibt kein Bein still und keine Hüfte ruhig.“
The Hop Caps
They set themselves the task of combining rocknroll, rockabilly, swing and jazz and created a new sound, which they called swingabilly.
In the eighties and nineties, they mixed up the entire Rhine/Main area, as well as nationwide, and were welcome guests everywhere.

have managed to get a rockabilly swing band together again.
They play a wide-ranging program from the Go Getters to Johnny Burnette to the Keytones, and with their alternating vocals and their 2-part vocals, the four lively guys promise: "With our rhythm, no leg stays still and no hip stays still."
