Hello dear readers,

here you can see a kind of portal for ‘reporting’ during and after the meeting.

The site will continue to exist for five years after the meeting and is intended to give interested parties an insight into the colourful world of the 2CV.

Please send your photos or video clips with text, name, location and mobile phone number to:

The following example will be published: ‘Ben Bengel, D-Bengelsburg’

Photos and texts with offensive, racist and discriminatory content will not be published.

gedern swimming 2cv duck successfull in auction

Floating duck successfully auctioned!

The landmark of the 10th Deutschlandtreffen, our BJ 88 duck, which was first donated as a swimming duck and then auctioned off for a good cause in Gedern, was auctioned off on Saturday, 3 August 2024 with great success.

Thomas Menzel from Gedern made the highest bid. "For my wife," he said. His hardly astonished wife added with a laugh: "I suspected he would do it."

The photo shows the beneficiaries of the Oberes Niddatal and Gedern social centre with Mayor Markus Bäckel, Ortenberg and Mr and Mrs Menzel, Mrs Menzel at the wheel of their new 2CV.

The result is impressive:

2,000.00€ highest bid
500,00€ donation from a single meeting participant on top
376.73€ a 1€ drink token (redeemed) and a paper clip in the hat collection

Total: 2.877,73€ we say thank you to all!

2cv meeting dermany we re working on it

21.07.2024 24.00 hrs

The pre-registration for the ‘10th International German Meeting of the Friends of the 2CV’ is closed - now everyone comes directly to the meeting.

With a total of 418 registrations, including 1 bicycle, 25 ‘foreign vehicles’, 393 Citroën of which 339 2CV & derivatives, we really didn't expect it.
‘We are really gobsmacked!’ Degi&Diddi say and are happy about 2CV friends from 13 countries -

including Slovenia, the most here:
In addition to 2CVs from Germany, there are currently
37 from Belgium including 5 Méhari so far
26 from the Netherlands
9 from Switzerland
8 from Austria
8 from Great Britain
6 from the 2CV country France
3 from Finland

Now we are really excited to see what will be on the ticker at the end of the day, as they say, we have space for 800 vehicles, after that we just have to build on. The first duck will already be swimming (again).

We wish everyone a few nice summer days 2024 at Lake Gedern
